Color palette with 87 base colors

When customizing a Millenerpoort rug, you can always choose the colors yourself by choosing one or multiple colors out of our 87 base colors. A rug featuring just one color for each thread used, gives a beautiful and strong design. Most of the rugs configured by our customers use multiple colors, to create a rich blend of colors throughout the rug. This way, multiple base colors can be used to soften down the colors or create a dynamic display of contrasting colors. All our products feature a specific combination of threads used in the carpet pile, which are mentioned on the product pages on our website. For help configuring your new rug and choosing colors for it, you can visit one of our resellers. They are experts on our products and will help you creating a rug which will complement your interior beautifully. At our resellers you can also request a material sample after you’ve chosen the colors for your rug. This way, you get a small sample of our product featuring the colors you’ve chosen, to take home and check whether it matches the colors of your interior. 

Color gradients (spectra)

Want to add even more color to your rug? Some of our products can be configured to feature a colorful color gradient, which we call “Spectra”. For a “Spectra” design, we gradually change the used threads in the carpet pile, to display a dynamic color transition between colors. Some examples of rugs featuring a Spectra color gradient are our Infinity, Cosmic, Corso, Unico Spectra and Salina Spectra. When adding a color gradient to a rug, we need approximately 40 cm carpet length for each color added. 

With a Spectra color gradient you can choose the type, size and center point of the color transition yourself. On this page on rug shapes and sizes, a couple of example color gradients are displayed to show some of the endless possibilities when configuring a color gradient.
